Hi Pam, Thanks for your inquiry on my blog. I'm no expert but I double up the thin yarns (4ply) to roughly match the thicker ones and seems to work okay. I'm only making a blanket to use up oddments but I'd stick to the same yarn if you're making something special. I'm rather liking Flanneletta! xx
I like Flaneletta too, she looks rather jolly. Reminds me of a rag doll my mother made for me when I was a kid named .... Towelina. Bet you can guess what she was made of ....
