Good Evening my dears market news

Good Evening all, from the market today a gorgeous lloyd loom style chair, seat pad needs attention,£10,a beautiful 2 tier cake stand with royal blue bits of colour on very jubileesque!£5and from the charity shop for 25p each country living and period living mags, and some odd china cups and saucers.Weather a let down today, where has the sun gone PLEASE let it return for the jubilee!!!I have my bunting up inside and outside the house. On a different note saw a summer house in B and Q it's sooo like one I saw in Country living,I WANT IT NOW!!! I could make it into a little studio!!Think hubby will throw a fit if I tell him about it he'll say we haven't any room but I KNOW WE HAVE!!! I'm at my sisters cottage on Sunday I will have to wear a yellow dress to combat my green {with envy} face!!!Have a jubtastic weekend and keep fingers tightly crossed for sun TTFN!!

A very balmy good evening to all, aren't we lucky to have some sunny days in a row? I am just going to pop into the kitchen with the laptop to try and photograph my chairs[pause] A long pause I ate a wagon wheel thinking that would help me to remember how to get photo's onto blog, but it didn't!! just toying with the idea of another wagon wheel and a glass of milk, the milk is healthy and cancels out the first wagon wheel!! will have to enlist the help of Holly with the photo's 'night 'night sleep tight.

I'm writing this at the kitchen table with the glorious sun still shining!!! I reupholsted my chair that I got from Connies Closet in a gorgeous floral fabric that I got from the bolsover antiques the other week,it looks FAB even though I do say so myself!! Also I painted and reupholstered an old chair that I got from the Thursday market ages ago for £2!! I am feeling rather smug! My creative urges are very strong at the moment it's the ispiration I get from other sources, Mollie Makes, The Button Tin and my fave, The Custards[dear Jenny!!] Bbfn.

I am NOT a hoarder,I just collect things!!

Good evening everyone, Just watched coro[not corrie!!] wasn't Ritas ring FAB!!?From the Thursday market, 2 pretty blue patterned plates and a bunny pulling a flower cart, all 3 for £1!!A happy Christmas china cup and saucer £1and a GORGEOUS scruffy old mirror for £1, with free cobwebs!!! Also on a slightly sad note Connies Closet[vintage shop] is sadly closing down,on the up side I got a lovely Lloyd loom chair in green for £20 and a mannequin, modern but lovely,for £20 too in her closing down sale.Also from the charity shop a lovely 1930's clock with quarter chimes, the chimes are a bit wonky sounding but hopefully we'll get it fixed[one fine day!!] We had a band playing on the market so the atmosphere was good, it's a week before payday so if I'd had more cash I would have got alot more stuff!!!Oh I do LOVE the flea market!!!! Ttfn Pam.

GOT IT GOT IT GOT IT!!!!!

Hi all, YES, YES, YES,I got the Lulu bag and went mad and got the purse too, I'll never get to heaven, but I'm going to Hades with a fabuloso Lulu Guinness bag AND purse!!!!!Hope it stops raining so I can parade around the Thursday market tomorrow, and everyone will say there goes the woman with the Lulu bag!! How shallow does that sound? Yes I know very, I'm having a Marie Antoinette moment, let them eat cake!! I 'm a nice person really!!!no really I am, honest!!! May the sun shine on everyone tomorrow whatever you're doing.xxx

change is as good as a rest!

A change from antiques today,found a beautiful  plant nursery, it was in an old walled garden all overgrown in a picturesque way, very natural, the sun was shining and the bees were buzzing it was so quiet,just felt like I'd stepped back in time!I bought a few plants one of them a meconopsis poppy can't wait till it flowers!Spent the afternoon in the garden merrily planting up and tidying next doors ivy off my side of the fence!!Very pleased with the results,and a bank holiday tomorrow, hooray!!

Here I go again chatting to myself I wish someone would comment on my blogs even if they are UTTERLY boring.I've been surfing around facebook, it's getting quite addictive,oh dear!!Not alot to report today, from my beloved Thursday market, 1 odd china cup, a china tennis saucer,a 1930's jug and a little double dish,NO MORE ROOM  at home MUST try to stop buying!!!ttfn.

The Button Tin

Hooray, today  I went to the Button Tin in Rotherham to see the lovely Gemma.We are buying her wedding bouquet and button holes. They are GORGEOUS . The place is filled with all manner of fabric and vintage items, my heaven,it was a real feast for the eyes if you love vintage you MUST go to see Gemma!!
