Good morning! Thank you for your kind comments and welcome to blog land! You should be able to see a link to your dashboard when you log in - there is a little pencil icon (when you hover the mouse over it you should see that it says 'write new post' - when you write the post there should be a display of icons at the top of the page - one should look like a little image and you click there to add photos.
