Good afternoon, hope you all had a merry and peaceful Christmas. It has snowed here in Chesterfield so I haven't been out today, just lazed about eating too much!I have taken a few pictures of some of my Christmas goodies. My hubby and three daughters were very generous and got me all things that I love. The beautifully wrapped one is from middle daughter Alice. It contained books,Sewing with Liberty Fabrics,Sarah Moore vintage things to make, cupcakes to decorate and The Seafront Tearooms by Vanessa Greene. The little silver rocking chair and three angels brooch were from elder daughter Laura Jo from her shop ADORN and the wool just part of the many items from youngest daughter Holly (Yes she was born on Christmas Eve,best gift ever!)The Downton style earrings from hubby, again purchased from ADORN.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I'm having a rare lazy Sunday afternoon! I have put my decorations up (last weekend) The earliest I've ever done them! I've just had a pot of tea using my Christmas china and I am posting a few shots of my Christmas decorations
. I have also made my Mary Berry Christmas cake and set up LA BOHEME in a Christmas display.I'm off work tomorrow so will be writing cards and pottering in my sewing room,it needs a tidy up!!
Last night we went to the Derby playhouse to see a Christmas Carol,it was very good and quite unusual
.I made the wreath myself,so I am very pleased that I kept my New Year resolution to learn to crotchet!! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.xxx

LIBERTY IN LONDON!
How are you on this lovely November evening? Yesterday I went shopping in London with two of my sisters and our mum.We had a perfect day, visited Liberty,Selfridges(how I Wished it would have been like the store in the T.V drama, but sadly not!) Harrods,John Lewis and Butler and Wilson. Liberty was THE BEST for me it retained an old world charm and the building was FAB U LOUS darling ( said in a Craig Revell Horwood voice!!) I purchase some little gifts and a lovely piece of fabric pictures to follow................

A TEAPOT FULL OF FLOWERS!
Good Evening,it's been a lovely afternoon here in Chesterfield. This morning (it's my day off work) I hot footed it up to town to buy some Pansies as I had a fancy to fill some teapots with them and make a late summer display! Here are the results for your delectation.................... Please don't look too closely at my window sill,it's filthy!! Not like the old days when we washed our door step and windowsills weekly or daily if you were very houseproud!!!
