AS PRETTY AS A PICTURE

Hasn't it been a lovely day,I went to the Thursday flea market and got a gorgeous gold ornate picture frame and then a la Sarah I stapled a gorgeous piece of vintage fabric behind it and there I have a beautiful "picture"...................

HI,I am soooo thrilled to bits  I  have just purchased Vintage Home by the lovely Sarah Moore.I could have wept with joy as I turned the pages,they are sooo beautiful.The ideas seem very easy to achieve,I cannot decide what to do first!!!My heart rate went up at each page turn.I could seriously consider ripping up my stair carpet to wallpaper them,but sadly I have one of those things that are lovely and useful most times but sooo sensible at crucial creative times,yes that's right you've probably got one too,oh yes they're called husbands!!!! Here's my book sitting pretty on my settee.......

My lovely hubby gave me beautiful ceramic floral earrings from my daughters shop ADORN and for my tea he cut  my pizza into heart shapes! aaaaah!.........

MAKINGS!

Hi, hope you are all well and not suffering with the variable weather!I have been sewing love note cushions to sell in LA BOHEME. I made them with vintage fabric.I sewed a heart on the front as a little pouch to pop in a love note for your sweetheart,hope they sell!! I am determined to learn how to crotchet and am struggling at the moment but I WILL master it,but how can a bit of wool and a hook be SO frustrating?Have been reading my favourite blogs tonight and they are all lovely with clever ideas and such talent!! Here are  my cushions..............

ALL WHITE!

Hi everyone,I have been painting things in Annie Sloans old white,lovely little steps to pop plant pots on in the spring,a sweet jewellery tray,my plastic plant pot with my tree branch in that I had on my Christmas table and one of my chapel chairs.I love the paint it is so easy to use.I want to put either decoupage or a stencil on the chair but it will have to wait until my next day off.Today from Olympia House I got 2 GORGEOUS Vernon Ward pictures for only £5 each!!!I am sooo happy with them they will go with 2 I already have.I think I will pop them above my sofa in the sitting room,to remind me that Spring is on the way!............

Good evening,today from the R.S.P.C.A charity shop for the amazing price of £3!! I purchased this gorgeous oil painting of beautiful blooms.It is a little scratched but I don't mind too much.Will have to find somewhere to hang it as it's rather large!!It's signed Jevvi??.................

HAPPY 2014!!

Happy 2014 everyone, I am going to learn to crotchet this year and to TRY to be more sensible with my money!! I Let the new year in quietly as I'm not a fan of new years eve.I got some Daffodils from my market flower seller,I adore Daffodils and must try to plant more in my garden this year.I am really looking forward to seeing what you all make and buy this year to beautify your lovely homes.
